We had the best time ever with our friends. The game reserve was insane - we saw so many cool animals, like the endangered Roan antelope and waterbuck. The rooms were cozy and the bathroom had this vintage clawfoot tub that was so Instagram-worthy. The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. And let's not forget about the views - they were so epic, like something out of a movie!
The only thing we wished for was more nightlife options. Don't get us wrong, we loved the chill vibes of the lodge, but as young party animals, we were kinda itching for some late-night fun.

Our experience at Reilly's Rock Hilltop Lodge was absolutely breathtaking! The views of the valley and mountains from our room were mesmerizing. We loved relaxing on the patio, which added a charming touch to the cozy room. The en suite bathroom was convenient and clean with a nice shower/tub combo.
Personally, we weren't big fans of the shower/tub combination in the bathroom, but we understand that others may find it enjoyable.

Explored lush gardens, cycled through plains, and enjoyed a meal at the onsite restaurant. Close to Mantenga Nature Reserve and Somholo National Stadium. Located within the Mlilwane Reserve, with views from the garden.
Portable fans were a real treat. It's not like I needed proper air conditioning in this fancy lodge.

The rooms at Reilly's Rock are simply amazing! They offer breathtaking views of the valley and mountains, which makes waking up every morning a dream come true. Plus, having a patio in each room gives you the perfect spot to relax and soak in the stunning surroundings. As a nature-loving backpacker, I couldn't have asked for a better room!
The only thing I personally didn't enjoy as much at Reilly's Rock was the bathroom setup. I prefer separate shower and tub, but I understand that some guests may still find it convenient.

Beautifully situated in Mlilwane reserve. Clean rooms, kind staff. Good food, although unsure of typicality due to unique weekend. Lodge's communal areas exclusively used by large group. Great activities and access to hiking trails. Fantastic wildlife/nature views. Best bird table. Friendly and attentive staff. Delicious breakfast, amazing fillet steak.

Lush Gardens and Cycling Adventures: The moment I stepped into the lodge, I felt like I had entered a secret garden, with vibrant foliage and blooming flowers painting a picturesque landscape. Exploring these lush gardens on a bicycle was like riding through a fairytale!
Check Out Time: An extra hour in the morning would have been perfect for those of us who couldn't resist getting lost in the enchanting grounds.

We had the most enjoyable stay at a charming hilltop lodge. The old-fashioned accommodation gave us a touch of nostalgia and a break from reality. The surroundings were beautiful, and the staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. The highlight was the Bush Baby feeding, a special experience. Despite a couple of minor inconveniences, we would highly recommend this lodge for a peaceful and relaxing getaway. it was a delightful stay.

the location was unique, nestled in beautiful gardens with stunning views of the surrounding area. the staff were friendly and committed, providing excellent service throughout my stay. the rooms were comfortable and clean, with a cosy fireplace to keep warm. the lodge also offered a variety of delicious meals, including a memorable Boma dinner where I got to meet other guests. It was truly a magical place to stay.
The water from the showers in the guest house was a bit discolored, but it didn't bother me too much.

We had an amazing weekend getaway in the beautiful hills. the staff were friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. the view from our room was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking a stunning valley. the best part was being able to spot various animals right from our patio. It was like having our own private safari experience. the location was also perfect, nestled within a wildlife reserve, providing a peaceful and serene atmosphere for relaxation.
That the check-out time was a bit early in the morning. It would have been nice to have an extra hour or two to explore the grounds and enjoy the surroundings.
